Title : The bad effect of
using handphone for students in clasroom
Handphone
is one of electronic technology in our life. Almost all people in the world
have handphone, and it becomes an important things in their daily life.
Nowadays, many people need handphone as their needed to communicate with other
people no exception for student. Moreover, there are many types of handphone
which offers many application to make the communication easier than before. All
types of handphone are also available to get an easier internet connection.
Although, it offers many easiness to help our activities, but it also give the
bad effect for student because it gives a chance for students to do cheating
when they are in school. It also give bad effect of many aspect in learning
process.
Against
the benefits of handphone is to communicate with other people become easier
eventhough we are in different country but nowadays, the fact shown that some
students use this technology to do cheating by exchanging answer, or asking
answer to their friends using BBM, Line, or Whatsapp. Surely, it can give an
effect not only for their score but also for their mind set. Although they get
good score, but their mind set become narrow, because they will do anything to
get good score from their teacher. From the physical aspect, it can influence
their self confident. By do cheating they won’t believe their abbilities to
answer the test. They only relying on their friend’s answers than their own
aswers. So, in the final, although they get good score, but their get bad
attitude and less of self confident.
Against
the benefits of handphone is to find all new knowledge in the world or exchange information from other world,
nowadays the fact shown that some students use an internet connection to find
answer when they are in examination. Furtively, they activate their handphone
in the class while examination to find the answer which they had not know. It
shown that, they less of preparation for the examination so that they do
cheating by using an internet connection eventhough they were supervised by the
teacher. Started from small things they
had do fraud, it does not rule out the possibility when they grown become
adults, they will do similar things but in different terms.
The
last against the benefits of handphone is should be used as an entertainment
when we are boring. The aim is to refresh our mind from crowded situation. In
fact, there is only the students which operate their handphone while the
learning process in the class. Some of them used their gadget/ handphone to
playing games, to acces social media, to take a photo, or the worse they acces
the sites which should not be access by the students (for example :
phornography). As we know that if someone ever had watch or see phornographycal
things they will be addicted to do it again. It also influence the mental
aspect of the students because by do something like that, it can disturb their
concentration when they are in learning process. The product of final learning
process is should be establish the good cognitive and also great affective
become useless because of the things above.
In
my opinion it was very clear, beside there are many benefits of handphone which
used by students , evidently there also many disadvantages of handpone for
students. The disadvantages of handphone for students are influence many aspect
such as self confident, cognitive, affective, and mental aspect. It also give
an effect in the future if they always do fraud, because their attitude in the
future is influence by their habbit in the past.
In
conclusion, i think it will be better if the teacher thinking about the use of
handphone for student while they are in the class. Started to establish the
honestly mind set since early, establish the self confident, establish the
statement that the process is also important in the learning process.
