Why are video games good for children?
Many people believe that video games have
a negative impact on children. Because there are some games that are not suitable for children to play and tend
to teach violence and profanity. However, not all video games teach violence. There
are some video games that are educational as well as helping children learn
many things, including foreign languages, planning / strategy, arithmetic, and
so on. Here
are the important reasons why your children should play video games regularly.
Video games can be used for uniting family
members. Children usually will feel
happy if their parents are willing to join in and play their favorite games. Do
this activity in the evening, holiday or weekend. Besides, being able to deepen
your relationship with your children, this method is useful to monitor the type
of game that is often played by your children.
Video games can teach academic
disciplines. Video
games also can be used as a learning tool. There are many games that help to
teach Mathematics, Science, English and other subjects with interesting and
interactive concept. Many
surveys have shown that children are more interested in learning through games
rather than learning activities in general.
Video games
can increase
new friends. Children
are going to play games together with their friends. Not only
that, their friendships also can
become tighter when they play online
games and connect with other players
around the world. Moreover, there are a lot of world-class games tournament that require them to interact with
other players. Therefore, you should never limit your children to pursue their hobbies and form a community of gamers that are beneficial to expand their socials.
Despite the benefits of video
games for children's intelligence are many, guidance and supervision of parents
absolutely necessary. It's important for parents to choose a video game that is appropriate to their age. In addition, you also
have to limit the time that they used for play the game. If left alone,
children often lose track of time. Forget to eat, forget to study, forget to take
a bath, and forget everything.
Wow great I agree with you buddy .I think video games are not only taught about violence but also forces us to be more responsive in real life. game teaches us to be more active and help each other in real life

2. yea, i absolutely agree with you. I think, video games has bad and good effects depends on the individual. if parents let their children playing video games, they should choose the "safe" video games. the fact is, i like English because i played video games. until now, i think.

Hello Galih ! After reading your essay, I find some mistakes on it. It's not a big mistake though. These are your mistakes :
ReplyDelete1. To remind you, the word "because" are prohibited to write at the beginning of sentence.
2. On the last paragraph, I think after the words "take a bath", when you want to use the word "and", you don't have to use comma before you write "and". It will be " Forget to eat, forget to study, forget to take a bath and forget everything."

ReplyDeletewhat a great writing. i almost can't find any mistakes inside your essay. but i think there are some small mistakes, here they are:
1."you should never limit" supposed to be "you should never limitted" because the statement is used present perfect tense, so the form supposed to be never + v3.
2. on the last sentence, it look like miss the correlation between the sentence before, it would be better if you put "They will" or "children will" at the beginning of the sentence.

I am agree with this statement “It's important for parents to choose a video game that is appropriate to their age.” Because parents must guide their children, and may be parents must make time table for children’s schedule.
