GUITAR AND PIANO

                Music is any sound that is produced by a person or group to serve audience or personal satisfaction. To make music, we need some music instrument. It is an instrument that made or modified to pruduce music. Basically, everything that produce sound, and with some ways can be arranged by a musician (people who make music) can be called music instrument. Music instrument that can be included into the basic of making song is guitar and piano.

            Guitar is a string instrument that played by plucking the strings. Guitar usually made from wood or plastic and steel or nylon for the strings. Guitar usually has 6 strings. But it is possible to make the strings become 16 strings. We can play a guitar with fingerpicking and also a pick (made by fiberglass). For some ordinary people, to play guitar, our left hand hold the neck of the guitar while fingers of our right hand pluck the strings. I mean ordinary peole here is that is for right-hand peole. Need some different ways to play guitar for a left-hand people like Justin Bieber etc. Different finger positions will produce different notes or sounds. A person who plays guitar called a guitarist.

            Piano is a music instrument with a keyboard. Piano has 88 keys that divided into white and black keys. We press the key to produce a sound. Piano also has some pedals (usually 2 pedals and 3 pedals for a larger one). They are damper and soft pedal. Damper is on the right and on the left for the soft pedal. When a pianist ( a person who played piano) pressed damper pedal down with his or her foot, the notes that played will keep sounding even he or she takes off the fingers. And when a pianist press soft pedal with the left foot, the notes sound quiter.

            Guitar is more simple than piano because we can bring guitar easily. For example, when a student need to performance a show for the school event, singing while playing guitar will be a number one option. Piano is more heavy to bring, and also need also electric too. That is what i mean guitar is more simple than piano.

            But, i will be more surprised when a person can play a piano. Because in my opinion, piano is more difficult to play than guitar. Some people can play guitar but can play piano. Although both of them make us need to remember the basic notes, playing piano looks more luxury on my opinion. I have a lot of friends that can play guitar but only have two of them that can play piano. To play guitar we use our hands. Same with guitar, piano also use them, but we also need to use our foot.

            Although both of them have their own weakness, guitar and piano can produce a great song if combined well. And music not only for a guitarist or pianist. There are so many music instrument that can used to produce music. So, a good music is that can combined all of music instrument and also vocal.
